This premium residential development in Newcastle’s Honeysuckle precinct achieved strong market success, with all apartments selling off the plan within five days in 2017. JG Vertical was engaged during the final stages of construction to support multiple external building works across three separate seven-storey residential towers. Our rope access solution eliminated the need for extensive scaffolding, delivering a more efficient, cost-effective and less disruptive approach for both the developer and builder during the completion phase.

Scope of Work

Supply, installation and certification of temporary fall arrest systems and anchor points to external balconies prior to balustrade installation

Installation of permanent purlin-mounted anchor points to rooftop areas for ongoing facade access

Provision of compliant height safety systems across multiple building elevations

Coordination with builder and subcontractors during final stage works

Support for external facade access requirements across three residential towers

JG Completed the Following

Installed and certified temporary anchor and fall arrest systems to all external balconies.

Completed external facade remedial works including grinding, patching, caulking and painting.

Installed permanent rooftop anchor points for ongoing maintenance and facade access.

Provided confined space support services in coordination with plumbing and service trades.

Assisted with final-stage defect remediation across multiple building elevations.

Delivered rope access solutions that removed the need for full scaffolding across three seven-story buildings.

Ensured all works were completed safely, efficiently and in line with project program requirements.
